Erica has a corporate career in HR spanning almost 40 years. She has worked with several large UK Blue Chip companies in retail and latterly with the global manufacturing organisation Goodyear. Her background is in leadership development, and she spent much of her career as a learning facilitator and leadership coach. In the last 10 years she transitioned into Talent Development and Learning and is formerly the EMEA Talent and Learning director at Goodyear Tyres based in Brussels. Here she was responsible for the regional Talent agenda, succession planning and overall career development and skills training of the EMEA Associates.
Erica began her training career in the Civil Service and then moved into the retail arena. Over time, and whilst working full time, she gained an MBA from Nottingham and was able to merge together many years of hands-on experience in business with the academic skills and rigours demanded of an MBA student. She has utilised her own leadership experience of leading large international and remote based teams to support and work with many leaders, both senior/mid-level and those new to leadership, across the corporate world.
In addition, she has become a certified coach, both as Women’s coach with One of Many and licensed with IOC, meaning she is able to work with both male and female leaders at all levels from the board room to the talent pipeline.
Erica lives in Derbyshire, and has travelled extensively as part of her working career both nationally and globally. Throughout all the travel and work demands has maintained a passion for cooking for family and friends and, under pinning her mantra that, `every day is a school day` in the last 3 years has discovered a love for yoga and learning to meditate.
